Receptive to feedback, listens well, looks out for employee
My manager is wonderful. She listens to what we have to say and she is always trying to find ways to improve and educate the team. Also she fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation.
They function very well together
Every one is very helpful
They know what they want and do it
Totally disconnected from the reality of the bedside and the impact of not having enough trained nurses to take of patients.
Care more about your employees than they do profits.
Manager enjoys shopping, sitting at his/her desk all day on personal phone, falling asleep at desk, passes all emails to other employees. What does the leadership need to get better at? Take a look at the high paying lazy managers and who is actually do all the work.
Actually caring about staff and patient safety and nit gaslighting their nurses, by dangling retention bonuses over them they have no intention of paying. You can offer 20K sign on bonuses and pay traveling staff but nothing for loyal employees.
Everything. When I think of leaders of this community our leadership is non existent.
I have retirement plan that works well for me
Medical Insurance and 401k benefits

Hours I get to work
Market value for key support staff is substantially higher and creates a revolving door of people who leave for competing hospitals in the tri-county area.
Musc has failed to retain and compensate the bedside nurse of all levels as well as all support stafd....from the highest acuity ICU nurse to the environmental servies worker. The message they send is you are replaceable. They have tremendous staffing issues that are not being faced.
I’m undervalued because I’m expected to do so much and not be fairly compensation for the amount of work and responsibilities that I have. Coworkers who do less work or paid m
My compensation is below acerage for the area and my for my level of education and it can seem arbirary based on your experience with HR.
Not being lied to by administration, having them actually listening to staff concerns, and pay us fairly for all the extra work we are doing.
Superb commitment to clinical care and innovating in areas where little support from the hospital exists.
Harder worker everyday got friends
Commitment to the patients we serve.
We take each day as it comes and help each other complete the work each day.
We have the best team. We work well together with what little resources we have and genuinely care about each other and patient safety.
Behave like adults and learn how to properly communicate. Focus more on doing your actual job.
The environment is dusty and dirty. The culture is one of frustration filled with overworked and under paid employees.
I have some awesome coworkers
The doctors are very nice . They speak to you and with you
The only positive thing I can say is I have a job. MUSC is not an employee friendly company.
The culture is fair and just.

Value employees, less middle management. More investment into staff retention.
Listen to your employees and why they are not happy. Stop promoting people to position based on how much you think you can manipulate them and put people in positions who will get the work done free of bias.
We are over-worked, underpaid, under-appreciated and feel like those over is don't care. The staff bonds over their general displeasure at working there and are constantly looking for other options at a better life!
Stop treating us like servants
Administrators need to leave their offices and get in the trenches every once in a while. Most are former clinicians who seem to have lost their way when the money starts rolling in.
Interview was several years ago.
It was easy which benefitted me, but I've seen it produce negative results
They often hand people jobs without actually posting them and taking applications which I thought was against the law.
Very challenging. I had .3 people panel
Peer interviewing is used so you are not only speaking with managers.
I did not get interviewed they just bought the company I worked for and did not negotiate anything with the employees. Very disrespectful on MUSC part
The best part is taking care of patients.
When the manager is made to work and not allowed to pass his/her work to others.
My coworkers, feeling like there are days when I genuinely make a difference in someone's life.
When i clock out and go home
The people and patient interaction
Too many people in management positions who have no idea on how to lead their teams.
The company / managers / leadership should treat everyone equally including fair salaries regardless of the position you work at the hospital.
The Company should be more concerned about employees than customers
