MUSC Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Receptive to feedback, listens well, looks out for employee

My manager is wonderful. She listens to what we have to say and she is always trying to find ways to improve and educate the team. Also she fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation.

They function very well together

Every one is very helpful

They know what they want and do it

They care nothing for clinical staff or patient safety

We are a team that work well together

Fair and help make job enjoyabke

Communicates effectively to keep us aware of all of the big changes that are coming

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Totally disconnected from the reality of the bedside and the impact of not having enough trained nurses to take of patients.

Care more about your employees than they do profits.

Manager enjoys shopping, sitting at his/her desk all day on personal phone, falling asleep at desk, passes all emails to other employees. What does the leadership need to get better at? Take a look at the high paying lazy managers and who is actually do all the work.

Actually caring about staff and patient safety and nit gaslighting their nurses, by dangling retention bonuses over them they have no intention of paying. You can offer 20K sign on bonuses and pay traveling staff but nothing for loyal employees.

Everything. When I think of leaders of this community our leadership is non existent.

MUSC admin has taken on huge debts by buying failing rural hospitals while also carrying a huge debt from its giant new children's hospital. This translates into a lack of investment in its true money maker and cuts to staffing. More new buildings feed CEO, COO egos. 900+ laid off now.

Leadership is completely out of touch with his physician practices do and should function.
