My company uses a quarterly system to decide the amount of raises.

By my dependability and hard work. Also being a team player.

A formula based on my review score. Capped at 3%.

At my company it’s about who they favor most. Tons of value.

According to my manager, raises are capped for individual contributors at 3%. The visibility of your project to upper management determines if you receive the full 3%. Last year no one received a raise. Bonuses are based on a percentage of your pay, and are tied to corporate and personal performance. The performance bonus is decided by your manager at the end of the year, and not based on your quarterly reviews or peer reviews.

Remember 3% is cost of living adjustment. If its below that you should start looking.

Favoritism in my department, manager was able to determine who got a higher raise than others and was dishonest to some telling them falsehoods about their status
