I think people are overwhelmed - it seems to be a trend that you take on more than just your role/responsibilities and the stress of that can make people unhappy in their job.
Most places are top heavy in management and all the actual work is put on a few people
Probably because they aren't listening to their inner selves, and not seeing those priorities correctly.
Because bosses and managers are so far behind in actually understanding what motivates people. Plain and simple.
They don't feel appreciated.
pressure from job not there prefered job distance from family
There could be many reasons: low pay for work done, uncompassionate boss, abuse at work, peer pressure, no rewards for work done, . If they really hate their job they should actively look for other areas of enployment
Poor management
They aren't brave enough to look for something else.
Probably because they either were pushed into a career not of their choosing or they never gave their future career serious thought.
because they are afraid of change and risk
Because they’re not being treated fairly or they just don’t like what they’re doing
They are working for a paycheck and not doing what they love.
Because they are just working for a paycheck and not doing what they love.
they did not get an education that allowed them to do the job they want
To me, jobs require substantial organization of resources. People who hate their job in an organization may feel they're unable to change their job and/or the organization around them.
For me, that sentiment is often rooted in the fact that jobs are obligations and at 40 hours per week during the majority of daylight hours - it can wear on you. It's why we invented vacations. However, if we look at this like behavioral economists AND ignore for a moment all those who stay in jobs they don't like for personal, financial, or insurance related reason... People will often say they hate their job but continue to work in that job. They will even strive to their job well and achieve whatever goal has been placed on their shoulders. I certainly fall into this category.
Grunt jobs, low salary, being extremely micro-managed, not being appreciated, not able to use knowledge/experience, very low level jobs
When we do something too much even if we like it in time it will be something that we don't like anymore. Let alone the jobs that are not liked by the people and horrible bosses and horrible colleagues.
It could be for several reasons. They could just not like what they do on the job or it could be that you're suppose to rotate doing something on the job but that never happens, you could not just like the people you work with. There's many reasons.
Because work, to many people, is something they need to do to keep up with their lifestyle. It is not a choice, but a necessity.
Bad management. Poor wages
Because since 2008 American companies have held a crushing upper hand over employees and exercise it to demand ever longer hours, ever steeper expectations, and unflinching loyalty while treating all levels like disposable tissues. Threats and contrived reviews are employed to suppress wages as profits skyrocket because employees work smarter and harder
Jobs are hard to do
Management and supervisor issues
Because of bad life choices - they go to work to get money for paying for resting from work. However they should’ve enjoyed every moment of doing something for money
There is no short answer to that question and if someone gives you a short answer, they are most certainly not enlightened to the complexity of the situation.
They have taken them to pay the bills until they find something the love to do but it seems that the dream job never comes
Probably because they are lazy.
A job it's just that work that you love you don't consider a job
they don't hate their job, they hate the management style and lack of leadership and micromanagement.
This is because of bad leadership in 99%cases but 1%case it’s because they get handed a profile for which they were never recruited for in the first case
It's usually because of the other people they're forced to work with. Most jobs are relatively easy for most people,it's usually bad co-workers that make it worth hating
