Apologize, admit you made a mistake & stop lying. Depends on the lie, how often you have lied, if you took the blame (or passed it on to someone else.) Depends on the level (little or big) & if it was to sabotage or damage another and the reasoning behind the lie. You may never regain & may not deserve to gain your coworkers' trust.
It simply takes time, the bigger the lie the more time it takes.

Good luck with that. It will take a very long time, if ever to regain trust. Do not lie on top of your lie trying to save face. You need due diligence and severe sincerity to this coworker. Let him/her know you are truly remorseful and that you are and always will be there for them.
Admit the truth and try to find a way help solve the problem. Ensure your co-workers that it was an error in judgment and that you are a reliable member that can be trusted. This can be difficult when you have a uniquely emotional supervisor/ staff members. Also, the workplace culture should be founded on the ideal for allowing minor mistakes to happen without being reprimanded as long as they are learning from the mistakes. Providing a positive workplace culture is essential to receiving honest and candid feedback.
