how I'm greeted at the beginning of it. I'm here to help you when you are stressed out and need someone to back you up. Interviewing is stressful and exhausting. How you handle it tells me much about how I will be supervised with things are running hot. Do you make me feel like you want me to be part of a team? Or am I just one more problem on your plate? How well do you show what the company values are? Most importantly do our personalities mesh well enough that I know I can be myself at work? Being someone else is more stressful than doing another 50 interviews to find a job where I dont have to watch what I think as well as what I say or do.

Willingness to ask questions. If you all questions and are willing to learn, that is a great opportunity for us. Never show up thinking you have all of the skills we need. I have never seen that happen. Those that assume they have all of the skills do not last.

To me it is if a hiring manager notes that the work is ultimately about building relationships. Highlighting what people can do together.

If you feel that you get an honest assessment of the company including areas that they aren't so good, that is a good sign that they are not just drinking the kool-aid.
