There’s good and bad to both. It’s more about the person rather than the gender.
Not much of a difference in my opinion
females are more vocal and detail oriented and tend to be micromanagers
I find that experience and maturity matter more than gender.
Sometimes nothing at all. (stereotypes are wrong about 1/2 the time?). Men (some) - get to the point more, less wordy, but also less descriptive. Leaves room for guessing... Women (some) - more descriptive in communications, better overall communicators.
I've had a lot of different bosses of both genders, and it's really hard to generalize like this. It is very different depending on the person. That said, one area that is noticeably different is that when I encounter gender discrimination or vague sexual harassment in the workplace, female bosses believe me right away and male bosses are very skeptical until I can show them some kind of "proof."
