A mirror placed at a person's desk so that they can see who is behind them watching their work is the biggest and worst sign of a toxic work environment I have ever witnessed in my 45+ years of working at various companies.
Gossip, poor treatment, retaliatory attitudes, depression due to work/ low pay.
