Ask Yourself, is it worth it....? Are you financially stable enough to handle the responsibility such as this position? Do you have something lined up to replace that income?
Persevere. Give it some time and be open to learning.
Unless you have another one or can afford it, otherwise stick to it until you can.
Time never stop and never be the same, ignore it and say All is well.
Quit. You're on probation period and you have every right to leave. Think of it this way you wouldn't stay roommates with somebody who you realize that you hate after 1 week. Work is going to take up most of your life and if they can't be on their best behavior during your probation period then they certainly won't be good when the going gets tough.
Give it a couple weeks
Request to speak to your manager in private. Tell them what you expected and what you got. Communication is key.
Give it at least another week
Should talk it through with manager and if the manager is the problem, should talk it through with HR
Welcome to the REAL WORLD! Everybody will at some point have a bad week and after your first week on the job, I will guarantee this won't be your last bad week. If you quit after the first week because you're having a terrible time, you'll never hold a job. Every job will provide some form of a bad week and so, pushing through with patience, will prove to you that you can handle hard times. Stay focused and you'll be fine.
Wait six months before making that decision
Stick with it for at least six weeks, you may just need time to settle in.
QUIT! Your peace of mind and happiness is much too important.
There’s always a learning curve to any new working environment. That being said, if you know it’s a bad fit, start looking for something new! Never waste an extra minute at a bad job.
One week will not determine your entire career give it some more time. It may have just been an off week. Recover over your weekend and give it everything you have next week. You cant determine a marriage in the first week. It takes time, commitment and energy.
Suck it up as things are always rough at the start.
Give it a couple months. Too much to get acclimated to in first week to know if this is right for you.
