As a woman, what are some signs of a great male boss?

Superior listening skills, servant leadership style, diversity of current team culture and how others on the current team interact/engage with him.

Respect, competence, kindness

Treats staff equally regardless of gender. Feels comfortable connecting with all staff in conversations. Respectfully the same with male or female employees.

one that was passionate about the job more than impressed with his power

No harassment and favoritism towards others. Able to speak clearly and doesn’t talk down to people (Good communication skills).

Treating everyone fairly with the same respect regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion and more importantly these days, political affiliation. Seems employees who align themselves with republicans are viewers as lower class employees who are not intelligent which makes for very uncomfortable working situations

I am male but I think the sign of a good boss in general is equal treatment and praise/critiques of work.

Willingness to learn

Shows signs of caring and is unbiased.

Same as any Boss, goes to bat for the team and a shield from distractions.

Resists mansplaining. Listens. Invites female employees to give feedback, especially in male-dominated meetings.
