Everyone plays a small role. One person can be a cancer if not dealt with.

Everyone is ultimately responsible. But, the MOST responsibility is from the top. From CEO down to directors, to managers, to supervisors, and to boots on the ground - everyone higher up in the chain serves as an inspiration to everyone below and adjacent.

Everyone is responsible for maintaining a healthy company culture, but top management must let their company mission and values be known and must set an appropriate example for all to follow.

Everyone is responsible for it. To be honest the leader of the company. And then it is not just one person. The idea that one department, or one area is responsible is wrong. The culture of a company is what makes a company enjoyable to work for and it starts at the top and trickles down.

I would like to say everyone is responsible for a healthy culture, however, it doesn't always work that way. If you don't have the management leading by example you will never succeed in the healthy work place.

In the company I’m in it’s us employees that tweak what we do to help create a healthy culture. HR only does something to when things get really bad and they need to protect the company. Management only does something after lots of complaints and people start to leave. Too many hoops and budget issues for HR and Mngnt to actually make a real difference. Employees work together on a daily basis to create special activities (lunch, walks, after work activities, exercising) to help create a more healthy and fun culture.
