The seasoned one is more likely to know what is going on.

First time founders can be rough. They make a lot of basic mistakes.

A seasoned founder can quickly intuit what is actually important and what is just noise. A first-time founder will have trouble prioritizing meaningful work in the "more to do than can ever be done" world of a startup. Seasoned founders will also be able to attract business and funding better than a green founder (on average).

It depends a=if you are :wet behind the ears" as the start up is. It epends on the new hire. In any event cockyness is not the way to be. I use to let the new hire step all over him/herself to see what they actually knew or were faking.

The first-time startup founder can be an enormous burden on everyone around them because they typically don't know what they are doing, how to formand nurture a team, nor how to react to suggestions (which they often see as interference or betrayal). Seasoned startup founders, are easier to work for, because you are working WITH them, and they appreciate what you bring to the team.

Many things would be "new," most likely different things & styles tried out, more open to suggestions, out of the box thinking & innovation.

I hit the Goldmine with my CEO. He is hands-down one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met my life.

You get to contribute a lot of processes and be more proactive in sharing ideas you already know. Working with a seasoned one, you will still gauge the knowledge before meeting into a certain agreement on what needs to be done.
