Being transparent, open and honest about my own struggles. Encourage us to listen to each other instead of just our response. Don't fixate on a change that is we don’t like, but ask others how they feel and get a temperature from the team before responding to management.

Model it and reward collaboration. Ignore and deincentivize competition. If the whole team gets a bonus for your work, why be a singular hero? And if it's easier to work together and get a bonus, why not help the team. Prove that a high tide raises all ships. Read "Multipliers", it explains this well.
