Being transparent, open and honest about my own struggles. Encourage us to listen to each other instead of just our response. Don't fixate on a change that is we don’t like, but ask others how they feel and get a temperature from the team before responding to management.

Model it and reward collaboration. Ignore and deincentivize competition. If the whole team gets a bonus for your work, why be a singular hero? And if it's easier to work together and get a bonus, why not help the team. Prove that a high tide raises all ships. Read "Multipliers", it explains this well.
Provide more team building activities
Reward the team instead of individuals. Reward those who work as a team or in pairs.
Always be willing to listen and collaborate with other individuals in the team/workplace. Be a team player leave the "that's not my job" attitude.
Change roles and tell them that the scope is to increase the teams result not single results
We succeed as a team and fail as a team.

Remind everyone that there stats are only to help themselves and not to make others look bad.
Avoid contradicting ideas from coworkers. Rather, be open minded and practice positive reinforcement or feedback.
Create team with understanding if one benefits we all benefit.
Lead by example and practice what you preach when teaching a highly competitive team by making decisions base on the best interest of achieving our overall goal not just by individual performance. Team building is always good
