At least a month but if. It possible, as soon as you can. This gives them time for fill ins for what time you must be gone.

Tell the boss as soon as possible. More notice the better.

At least a week in advanced if not two just to make sure there is coverage for that week.

None. My boss doesn't care if I'm around or not as long as my work gets done.

    1 week is plenty

If the week is available, not much time at all. A few days if that much. If the week is not available, he still will try and accommodate me if possible. That’s why I try give him as much advanced notice as I can. If the answer is ultimately no, I am sure he did the best he could satisfy my request.

Most jobs have a pto policy. They'll tell you the minimum to give them the warning. Anywhere a month ahead to a year

At least 2 months unless it is an emergency

Minimum of two weeks; ideally more.

Depends on what the trip is for. Vacation, I would give 4 plus weeks of notice the more the better. Family emergency, as soon as you know.

As much advance warning as possible, but at least a few weeks to a month is usually the minimum. Emergencies are one thing, but you usually know month(s) in advance of something like this. Should let your boss know as soon as you know.

At least a month in advance so your boss can be prepared for your absence

As soon as you know about it. However, the minimum time will depend on (a) how indispensable you are, and (b) whether there are others who could cover your job while you’re gone. I’d think at least 2-3 weeks at a minimum.

The typical courtesy rule is to notify 3-4 times the duration of your time off in advance. So 3-4 weeks in advance should be fine in your case.
