Everybody is genuinely interested in how everybody else is doing. Somebody is always on Teams, sharing vacation photos, memes, or important life events. Managers have weekly 1:1's with their staff as well, which is a great way to keep connected.
Package is comprehensive, and the insurance policies are great! We don't have stock/equity options, but there is a performance bonus structure. 401(k) match is good, but the funds have fairly high fees. Overall I think the compensation package is definitely competitive!
Staff is friendly and personable, and we do a good job of being productive while still connecting remotely. Definitely of the most cohesive remote teams that I've worked with, and everybody is willing to help one another. Meetings are also very effective-- they're short and on-time.
Leadership team is approachable and down to earth. You can come to them with issues, suggestions, recommendations, etc. relatively easily and have your voice heard. Also, our CEO and VPs are frequently involved in happenings around the office, giving kudos and catching up with the rest of the team.
Interview process was thorough, but reasonable. I went through a phone screen, a Skype call with our recruiter and my manager, and a final call with one of our VPs. I feel like all the right questions were asked, everybody was friendly, and I was able to learn a lot more about Aptris as well.
