The medical coverage is simply stellar. I am a healthy individual, but life happens, and to know that Backblaze has me covered is so reassuring.

The transparency here is unparalleled. They truly care about their employees and want the best for them. They make decisions almost too carefully because they want to try and please as many people as possible.

I liked the different personality types and perspectives of the people I got to chat with. Some technical people, some creative people, subordinates, managers, etc. I also LOVED the diversity I saw in my interview process! Very refreshing!

I find that the most rewarding part of my job is coaching and developing my team. I love seeing them grow and go off to join other teams and further their careers. Working with them is a blessing and I'm so happy with the team I've/we've created here.
