they are very friendly and genuine people. Not the typical type of executives that can be dismissive or rude, you wouldnt even know they are executives!!

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Not only does Backblaze make sure that employees are generously covered by benefits but the family is also well taken care of. We also get monthly fun health and wellness perks like classes, equipment, clothing, health and beauty allowances.

Good communication across hard workers all wanting to make things progress and succeed. Everyone is very motivational and encouraging.

Collaboration and kindness... all teams expect their employees to be collaborative, but there's something about a genuine kindness that goes a long way. We work well together and remember that someone's intention should define their character, not necessarily the in the moment decision/action.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My team is very encouraging and supportive. We are recognized for accomplishments and frequently get together for fun as a team. A good mix of hard work and good times.

What did you like most about the interview process?
They listened to what I had to offer to the team and were quick to make a decision, negotiate employment terms and close the deal. Pretty quick and painless.

What makes you most happy at work?
I really feel that the company takes care of the employees by sharing in successes both financially and gestures of recognition. They keep the kitchens well stocked and make it easy to be in the office (while not making it mandatory).
