They are competent and they care. They care about our team, they care about our safety, they care about our values. They make coming to work fun and exciting and promote opportunities for movement and growth. They live our values.

What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together, everybody is willing to help, our team is dynamic and diverse. Although we all come from different backgrounds, there is a ton of respect for each other and genuine appreciation. We celebrate together, we learn together, we have each other's backs. The whole team!! The energy!

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I think more than anything management needs to manage gossip better. I believe it's possible to implement a more respectful, uplifting culture. For the most part tHD is family oriented. It's difficult for 150-200 coworkers to all like each other.

Safety, growth, respect, making sales competitive and fun, feeling empowered to make decisions without fear of reprimand. It's an environment where vulnerability is encouraged, giving us autonomy and creating a unique and healthy work environment.

What did you like most about the interview process?
It is based on situations (tell me about a time...) rather than personal attributes (ie strengths and weaknesses). I like that because it gives you an opportunity to show your competency without the awkwardness of trying to be honest but also trying to look good.

My team!!! Walking into work, I have a most incredible view of the mountains so walking in is always like, "today's going to be a great day!" The "buzz" walking into the store and seeing happy faces, hearing laughter and positivity. I love busy days and cross clocking different depts. Knowledge!
