What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They have lost touch with all that made State Farm the market leader. When you stop caring about your employees, most of whom have worked for State Farm for decades, the employees will stop caring about the business.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
State Farm’s annual contribution to my 401K, Pension Plan and 20 weeks of paid Maternity leave. I personally took 4 months off for both of my children and came back to my role with 100% support from my leadership!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a Mutual company, we do not have stock options like many of our competitors. No effort it made to compensate for that lost opportunity and benefits are fair to poor. In recent years the company continues to eliminate benefits.

What are some of the best things about your team?
State Farm has meeting to plan meetings about planning meetings. More time is wasted in meetings than actual work every gets accomplished in an average day.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Management no longer cares about the employees or agents. The onece paternal State Farm is going the way or other corporations.
