Find people that have insurance experience and are a people persons. Leadership from the top needs to change. The board has no insurance experience. Major leadership changes need to be made.
Listen to their staff's concerns. Be a team member and actually pitch in when work volume is high and staffing is low In other words be a part of the solution instead of another problem.
