State Farm Insurance Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

They say nice things, but what they do is a different story.

Plenty of free water to drink

Great company to work with with very humble leaders!

Review from Legal Dept

The other employees at the office

Being at home and having good benefits.

Coworkers, free coffee and beverages.

Working closely with my peers

Team members are always helpful and supportive.

Not enough training for all the things you need to know

Paying a policy holder for covered damage.

Being able to work from home

I cant think of anything

The people at SF are very nice and cordial. The environment is peaceful.

I am free to pursure my own ideas.

Supportive, inclusive, innovative, company purpose

Nothing at all honestly maybe when you sre in training

Review from Customer Support Dept

Absolutely nothing is positive about this place.

Nothing you are just a number and you don't matter.

Having tne availability to be at home

As a long time employee, I have experienced tremendous cultural and environmental changes within the organization. That has helped me to embrace change and realize that it is critically important for us to remain competitive and relevant in the market place.

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Evetything is metrics based. Reinsert the himsn factor!

i will not be working for this agent after this week

Review from Customer Success Dept

Mandatory OT should never be neccessary for an insurance job, micromangament makes workers feel like they always doing something wrong, retention rates are horrible and the company awards bad behavior

State Farm should invest in leadership training for management

Better communication between the agents offices and support centers

The owner Is very rude and brings her personal life into work

Live up to what you preach as a company. Treat employees/contractors and customers fair

Review from Operations Dept

Less metrics, usefull technology that actually works andresults in more efficient processing

Fire the CEO and reverse the initiatives of the past five or six years.

The company needs to get back to what made it great.

Better choice of who they allow to be agents.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Agent should treat all employees equally

Review from Customer Support Dept

Keep employees informed of goals

Review from IT Dept

More flexibility. They say they work with your needs and school schedule but they really make it a huge hassle. Other insurance companies let their employees with the same ILR position work from home. There should be flex hours.

Sales reps are not customer service and sales . Open call center during day

Dont freeze jobs. Your holding good people back

Review from Customer Support Dept

Leadership at the top. He drives much of the negativity and it is copied by those below him.

Review from Operations Dept

Morale is very low and the managers do not care

Review from Customer Support Dept

We need to remember the culture the way it was, do the activities that engage employees, give them a chance to get to know each other.

New leadership, new focus on relationships.
