Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think there is discrepancy among the team when it comes to compensation. I would feel more fairly paid if I knew employees at a "lower" title weren't getting paid more than me.

There are inconsistencies across my own team with the compensation. There are individual contributors paid significantly more than myself as a leader on the same team.

Misalignment between EMEA salaries and US salaries for same scope; significantly more junior employees making more money in US than EMEA manager etc.

I am a top performer in my department but know that anyone who isn't a software engineer is terribly underpaid and undervalued. It is a slap in the face to know that engineers with worse performance ratings got higher raises than I did.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
An overall lack of experience and perspective. Lots of people whose only job is HubSpot and are willing to consider new ideas on the surface, but not actually create any meaningful or necessary change. The bar of talent is also just lower than what I've experienced at other companies.

More transparency and a clearer more actionable vision/mission for the company as well and more consistent acknowledgement of work that is done well.

My recruiter served as my coach -- super transparent with feedback all along the way.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
For me personally I just always get nervous because the direction for my team is very unclear. In the country I work in, I also am aware that Global invests less in us, and we don't perform as well because nothing is done the way it should be in a local way. I often fear I'll lose my job
