I am on a team that is not balanced, there are clear favorites that is not based on skills or valuable teammate. It is a popularity contest. It even reflects on raises and bonuses. Accountability from upper leadership or even accountability would improve teams.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I don't feel valued. Like I said before walk the walk. We have laid off so many people that no one knows what they are doing and who supports who. Hold on to your good people, leadership (3+) is so disconnected.

RTO was a surplus in disguise. It forced many to relocate unnecessarily in order stay employed in this bad job market and others to leave. We have lost so much talent as a result and now have overcrowded workspaces that require long commutes and early start times in order to get a seat.
