My voice has a value. I feel encouraged and supported and my role in the company is highly valued as based on the support I receive from the leadership and coworkers.
The actual interview was great, conversation was easy and the questions were sufficiently challenging. In hindsight, the questions were a reflection of the type of work I landed in and the ease of conversation a reflection of the type of interactions between peers.
The leadership team is open to hear what I have to say. They work to make sure I am challenged and are encouraging. I always get what I need or am given acceptable instruction so I can figure it out. I am rarely stressed by numbers coming from above.
My team is filled with highly intelligent engineers, they are always available to help if I have a question. They are also great listeners and take what I see and change approaches based on my recommendations. My voice has value and that is reflected in the interactions between everyone in the firm.
