Mine was a bit out of the norm. I did not meet the requirements for my position. I had to prove I could do it and pass certification in order to be given an opportunity. Then a 3-month trial.

Most of the time, We have 24-hour coverage. SOo some are hired specifically to work other shifts.

Varies based upon your role and job requirements. If you live local and 30 or less from the office, most come into the office, but it isn't required every day if you can do your work from home effectively.

I work from home, out of state. I am always connected to the office via VPN, communicating via Slack. I attend all meetings using Slack, and discuss issues using shared screens. I come into the office to connect with the people there every six weeks or so.

It was a technical question that I just did not understand.

Make sure you can answer technical questions for technical positions. Read up on the company and the CEO. Be yourself.

I met with the SVP of my department (my boss) and one of their directors.

Very thorough.

My interview process was really great. Most notably it was very fast. The same day I interviewed I was offered a job.

Overall very good. Just a few cracks that I know of.

Usually 8 - 9 hours a day depending on what's going on at the moment. Depends on the team.

I work 10-16 hour days due to the laziness of my section co-worker. Others work many hours due to the overall volume of work. Much of it spent on analyzing why something broke and restarting things because engineering deploys fragile stuff.

What team outings? Engineering (which includes Operations) never get team outings. Every other group at Chrome River does at least once a year. There is one overall event done for the entire company in the office but that is not a "team outing".

Haven't been to one yet since i recently started

Yearly holiday party in December, snack room (diminishing at the moment though), free drinks and sodas, wine club Fridays after work, ping pong table, another game table, 2 kitchens.

Perks: Best culture, free snacks, free drinks, ping-pong table, x-box etc.

Extremely helpful and really cares about employees' issues. Small, fairly new "team" (before was just 1 person).
