How much and how often do raises happen at FedEx?

They have a 10 step pay scale now for all hourly employees. I’ve been with the company for 22 years and am currently on step 7. According to this scale I’ve a raise about once every 3 years. Given the fact that a majority of my career at the company was during an economic boom in the country I would say raises come sparingly, at least for hourly employees.

In the last ten years salaried employees were lucky to maybe get two percent but medical goes up 4 so negative 2 percent never matching inflation. Salaried employees took a 5 percent paycut in 2008 and never got it back to date in 2021.

For Express - once per year of about $1. Though the last two years raises were cancelled except for a across the board 2% (roughly 35-45cents based on seniority).

I have only received one pay raise in 2 years which was .48 per hour. The cost of living in California alone is more than my raise.

In October 2022 3% which is about 50 cents .... and they act like it is something great that employees should be so thankful for.

Ive been at FedEx Freight for 9 years and we only get 30 cents per year for cost of living. It's a joke in 2022

Marginal. Not that good if you're just a handler or material handler. You don't matter as much as a team leader or above.

Sad but the raises can’t keep up wit the cost of living. Company not what it use to be.

Fedex express driver and I've worked there for 6 mnth and still no pay raise.
