There is more work each year and lesser pay. Underpayment of employees even in business critical positions is baffling. If the pay was per experience and quality of work, things could have been better. There is also a bottleneck when it comes to growth.
The lack of understanding from the top down on what’s the best process vs something to get the job done. People who are delivering high value output must be encouraged. Essentially if what you do does not result in a Sale, you could do the best of work, it’s no worth than a attaboy to the company.
