  • Easy going and casual. It's more of an interview for a culture fit, although credentials, experience, and ability is valuable. Culture and coachability will be the trump cards

  • A more fair compensation plan for sales so that every one has an equal earning potential. Not that it's heavily weighted, but there are some kinks to figure out so that everyone gets an equal shot at the big bucks

  • It's relatively innovative. The cool thing about HomeLight is that we're not trying to reinvent anything, just move the power in Real Estate from the hands of the agent to the hands of the homeowner who wants to make smarter decisions for their home

  • Great Culture within the team.

  • It depends on your goals. If you want a relatively low stress, high potential job at a company that is changing the real estate game from the bottom up and putting power in the hands of the homeowner and homepurchaser, and not just some leadgen/sales company then this is it. This is a cutting edge company, and things are dynamic. I honestly can't imagine why someone wouldn't want to work here

  • The obvious common questions. They also asked what do I know about HomeLight and what they do, and why do I want to work there. They also asked me a situational question, essentially role playing as if I was already in the role. I would recommend doing some first hand research ahead of time before interviewing.

  • Positive vibe. I'm in HR and working on a tight time with the Head of People is a blast. We're actively building our culture, while retaining and developing our talent. We work hard, but we also make sure we have time to live and focus on personal projects.
