Love helping people, because it often is a good fit when other things won't work, so it can be a real lifeline for folks.
Very open and up front. We do get regular updates, and they go into detail so we can get a good idea of where we stand and what our goals will be for the next quarter or year.
Unlimited PTO is nice, but I don't often take much of it. Working remotely is great, the compensation is great, lots of little ways to make extra incentives. Medical benefits are excellent, that's been a huge quality of life upgrade for my family.
Lot of different personalities, but Hometap has an extensive hiring process so they only get folks who are on the same page. Everyone is looking to do the same thing, and they put a lot of effort into keeping teams engaging with one another, even remotely.
It's very easy to get support, from wherever you need to go. It takes a while to get comfortable at any new position, but they really gave us time to get up to speed, and even if it takes a little longer, they invest the time and energy to help you improve.
