
get rid of the constant threats of layoffs... do them and then grow. stop the long dragged out elephant in the room issue of wondering if layoffs this period (month,quarter, etc) are going to happen. and start focusing on product development.
HPE needs to start investing in their people more. As a manager I was at times putting people who ranked in the top 10% onto the layoff lists. This was a major destruction of value that the engineering talent had.
Anything that can break down the silos. Departmental meetings that span different teams, "whole office" or even "whole floor" get togethers. We need each other and we need to remember to look beyond our own noses.
I would be the CEO. I would invest in development and ensure that my products were things my people would be proud to sell.
Fire the current crop of executives.
Take out top 3-4 layers
