    Provide more room for growth. Most high performing employees are going to want a path forward and many positions at the company currently cap out after a year or two.

  • A greater path forward. Most of the best employees feel trapped and then end up leaving because there isn't room for them to grow. Also, raises are not given on a regular basis (there are people who haven't gotten them for years), leading people to leave.
