Macy's is a very bad company to work for. They do not care about there employees. Customer service there is really sad. The managers and associates need to be trained alot more about customer service. If you treat your employees good, then you should see a better performance from them. Also the stores are starting to look like a swapmeat. All these discount areas, clothes everywhere. Your company offers alot of coupons and most of the time you can't even use them. Stop mailing them out and save paper if the customer has to go threw all the headaches to use them.
1). Smile a lot. 2). Make sure they know you always want to put the customer first. 3). Have an idea on what you personally can do to make the customers experience amazing. If you are able to tie this into selling more this will be good for you. 4). If you really need the job let them know you are willing to work under your requested starting pay. That could mean the difference between you and another candidate.
