Macys is hiring people way too young. I'm retail 35 years and my boss is 23 with no retail experience. How am I suppose to respect them?
Everything. Macy's will promote anyone and when it comes time to cut jobs they cut the best managers and newly promoted get demoted or fired
They have no leadership skills . Treat employees with disrespect an talk down to you because they wear a red badge.
The leadership must get out on the front lines occasionally to see for themselves what customers think and want.
Stop treating employees as expendable and start coaching to your associates' talents rather than using blanket coaching sound bytes.
Better communication between departments from sales and support, especially when individual department's interests can create a conflict.

Agreeing with eachother, congratulating associate more for their efforts, listening more instead of judging. Investigating
