With the current climate of panic and uncertainty in our company, I personally know and have seen first hand that "job security" is a thing of the past. Even with 8 years under my belt in my specific role with the company, I have been told frequently this year that they are always willing to find some one to replace me.

Not much, but it's been that way before, when I had a full-time position elsewhere. It lasted for 9 years and I loved it too.
