From the outside the culture looks great but be careful if you miss too many social engagements because of family. Leaders act family friendly but most are not and few have children.
Beware leadership who has been with the company a long time. The most tenured leaders are there because they've taken zero accountability for any shortcomings and have instead gotten very good at finding subordinates to ridicule and blame.
My coworkers are great but were all a bit anxious working in an environment where it feels like we have to read our boss's mind because asking for clarification or help is immediately labeled as incompetence. We are all looking for new jobs.
Optiv is focus solely focused on an IPO which means promoting offerings that we cannot deliver on or even worse promoting solutions that we flat out don't have yet. We need to be more honest about our capabilities and stop trying to artificially inflate our value.
Pay is great here, you will likely make good money. However the tradeoff is laughably bad benefits. If you intend to have kids on your medical plan be prepared to pay a lot. Additionally MOST employees are not given or offered any vesting opportunities to the top can pocket all the profit from IPO.
