freedom to be me and respect my experience and point of view
Always willing to help and teach
Beware leadership who has been with the company a long time. The most tenured leaders are there because they've taken zero accountability for any shortcomings and have instead gotten very good at finding subordinates to ridicule and blame.
Innovation and disruption rather than trying to bet on the future.
Commission structure can be very lucrative.
quarterly payout promotes conversation about your professional progress
Pay is great here, you will likely make good money. However the tradeoff is laughably bad benefits. If you intend to have kids on your medical plan be prepared to pay a lot. Additionally MOST employees are not given or offered any vesting opportunities to the top can pocket all the profit from IPO.
My base compensation is pretty good.
I truly appreciate the level of commitment, expertise and desire to do right by the client.
Highly knowledgeable, willing to work to get the job done, personable
Everyone genuinely wants to meet amd exceed client expectations.
My coworkers are great but were all a bit anxious working in an environment where it feels like we have to read our boss's mind because asking for clarification or help is immediately labeled as incompetence. We are all looking for new jobs.
we have diversity of thought - we bring our prospective together to develop best solutions to our client

Everyone in the rank and file works to meet our customers needs and accomplish what our customer needs. They are also supportive of new ways and ideas
From the outside the culture looks great but be careful if you miss too many social engagements because of family. Leaders act family friendly but most are not and few have children.
Accountability and cohesiveness at leadership level.
Developing a company culture again
I was able to meet with the hiring management, HR, the AVP, the SVP, and peers. That helped me gain a true understanding of the position and surrounding dynamics.
getting to understand the vision for Optiv 2.0 and leadership being honest to our current state
It took too long but was otherwise good.
Solving complex problems and seeing junior consultants grow
Solving client problems and helping them achieve their goals.
Tackling a new problem together with my team.
building relevant solutions but thinking over the horizon to prepare our clients to navigate the new world order
Optiv is focus solely focused on an IPO which means promoting offerings that we cannot deliver on or even worse promoting solutions that we flat out don't have yet. We need to be more honest about our capabilities and stop trying to artificially inflate our value.
Flexible schedule, remote work environment supported, unlimited PTO
strategy and vision, better marketing support for service lines
