I wish I new that they do not practice the moral & ethics codes they preach in the onboarding training. I should have known it was a red flag when the HR recruiter asked every new employee to submit a review on glass door before the onboarding training week was over, before actually working in any of the stores. They insist and push you to do this because they want positive reviews as the best place to work when in fact it’s more accurately the absolute worst place / environment/ culture/ compensation place to work. It’s not so easy to make money as they make it sound like when hiring you bc all commissions are based on deliveries and nothing is ever in stock to deliver so it’s a constant catch 22 to try to catch up with your deliveries to get paid. It’s almost impossible to make good steady money unless you’re unscrupulous. Also there is a HUGE disparity of men to women working in each showroom so the ratio of male to female is predominantly male.
I asked a lot of questions because my friend worked for Raymour
