I watched my boyfriend get employee of the month the first month he worked there. I have been there over a year, never got it, when someone tried to nominate me was told i would never make me employee of the month. Then he got promoted to sps which is glorified greeter and a raise 3 months later. I was encouraged to apply to area supervisor 3 months after I started, never even got interviewed, after they finally filled the position. And then 2 months later they left the company they promoted a girl who had been with the company less time than me. They told me they were making me one too and giving me $1 more, but then they could start training me because my background hadn't come back. Nothing more has been said about training me for the position even after I got an email that my background came back clean and I told them I'd gotten the email.
Fairly often. However, they are minimal. I asked an area supervisor who had worked at the store for 11 years how much she made, and she said $17 an hour. For context, the minimum wage at the time was $15 an hour. Ross will not fairly compensate its employees, and are happy to let them sit in minimum wage for as long as they can.
Been there for going on 8 years. I started at $8 per hour in 2014. Now the starting pay is $11. And I make $12.83. Ridiculous to be there that long and making that little. And I'm a full-time MOD plus/FES. Too much responsibility for too little pay.
I started at $11.50 hour. Three years later I make $12.21/hour. That's pathetic. It doesn't cover the cost of living. Ross needs to follow other giant retailers like Target and have starting pay at $15/hour if they want to retain good employees.
me too no raises or anything in over three years. its time to get a better job
Like once a year
