We all have common goals and support each other by sharing information about how to achieve meaningful goals.
Leadership who are working toward a strategic corporate goal use positive reinforcement and achievable goals to motivate their workers towards that goal not an endless list of impossible and unachievable goals via useless rhetoric.
TurboTax leadership and worker rating systems are full of negative reinforcement. For example, customers are asked to rate an interaction on a scale from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) but anything less than a 9 equals zero and adversely affects the worker's rating.
The product has had so many issues this year. When employees report the issues, they are reprimanded for doing so. Counterproductive is the word for TurboTax so productivity training thru setting realistic and achievable goals using positive communication techniques would be a great start.
Leadership needs a complete makeover. In other words, leadership should be brought up to date on what it means to use strategic management methods. Employees should have the opportunity to rate their managers. Leadership should never use a virtual office and an open mic to criticize their workers.
