What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Recognizing management decision effects on tax experts
Management skills- learning how to balnace feedback. manager focuses excessively on errors rather than recognizing overall performance or improvement. Instead of offering constructive feedback, they highlight every small mistake, often making employees feel incompetent.
They lie, cheat, and steal our pay. Also, deceptive hiring.

I kove it here indeed
The RSUs are great! And even with a six figure base salary, I get paid overtime - which is awesome - plus my bonus!
Bonuses are significant and easy to obtain.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher pay, better leave benefits
Bring back the community for the tax experts and give more time to complete growing lists of tasks to complete before the next call.
Pay me for the ALL of the time YOU REQUIRE me to work. Stop lying about the compensation. I'm not a salaried employee, so stop cheating me by expecting me to perform jobs that you don't consider worthy of compensation.
I would have been ok with what I made i choice to accept it I did not want to be called a number and flat out treated like dirt

The team was able to relate to the work being done and how it was a heavy workload
Highly competent, trustworthy, helpful, ethical, and experts in their work qualifications.
My peers lift me up and I have become quite the cheerleader & coach myself - that's what I've learned here and I think it's awesome.

Time from management to collaborate with coworkers
Who has time to mix with coworkers. I'm too busy working for half of what my pay contract says because of numerous demands to work off the clock.

You work from home, and set your own hours.

Ability to work from home
The most positive thing is that people support each other - as a manager my customers are my team - I set expectations / let them know the business needs and then I help them excel in meeting and exceeding those expectations.
Everyone works together and supports each other.

Leadership needs a complete makeover. In other words, leadership should be brought up to date on what it means to use strategic management methods. Employees should have the opportunity to rate their managers. Leadership should never use a virtual office and an open mic to criticize their workers.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Self-paced and at home platform
It was seamless and a quick process
I was lucky in interviewing for my latest promotion that I was well prepared by my mentors (who are managers at the same level) and I was coincidentally interviewed (multiple interviewers) by someone who had managed me and knew my good work, so that helped I'm sure.

Money grabs and hidden fees upset customers. They have to scroll past all kinds of confusing add ons to get to the place where they can enter their direct deposit info

The product has had so many issues this year. When employees report the issues, they are reprimanded for doing so. Counterproductive is the word for TurboTax so productivity training thru setting realistic and achievable goals using positive communication techniques would be a great start.
