Passive aggressive management. Poor pay
No humanity or support for employees this season. Every single huddle and meeting cancelled. Constant call outs with emoji sirens AHOD. UNTENABLE. 15-30 seconds for after call work. AI estimates it should take 10 minutes to complete return with a new schedule C.
Easy to enter required information
Overall experience is mixed. The training is poor foe the high demand of calls on product support. If you have poor manager, it can make the overall workday very stressful. There are high demands to meet, but very little training to achieve those goals.

How helpful was your Customer Support team when you were first hired at TurboTax?

not helpful, supervisor did not give me instructions on how to proceed on my first day. I was basically totally abandoned. One of the worst experiences I ever had in over 30 years in the work force.

not anywhere as good as they make it sound.

they have a large HR department to handle issues.
How does TurboTax measure success and growth in the Customer Support department?
It is mostly based on survey responses. You literally have to beg the customers to complete the survey and rate you high. If not, you will not have a job next tax season. Your knowledge and credentials simply do not matter after the initial hiring.

you must get customers to respond to the survey and rate you as a 9 or 10. If not, you will NOT get rehired for the next tax season.
