I have the freedom and am even encouraged to make what I do my own. I also have the same with learning new things. We are encouraged to try and fail.
As an almost 20 year employee, I can firmly say that the executive team, specifically the CEO, CFO and CTO embody what makes WWT what it is today. They are approachable almost to a flaw.
We are small, highly experienced and have a vast range of things we do. We see directly the impact we have on the company's success and we have the freedom to take on new things and improve processes.
Everyone is approachable. You can level with anyone no matter their position. It is very easy to build relationships. When you run into a person on the street wearing a WWT jacket you know you can have a 15 or 20 minute conversation and enjoy it.
It is well known within the company that you have to leave and come back in order to get the pay you should be getting. WWT is infamous for promoting without compensating. Ive been there 20 years and am directly responsible for a critical business function globally. I am certainly underpaid.
