Overall, this is a company that is struggling to modernize. Founded by four friends from India and now headquarted in Silicon Valley, this company feels like a dinosaur in terms of management practices and operating systems. We're walking a knife's edge between disaster and greatness.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It is hit or miss. I happened to interview with good people who asked good questions and who were competent at the skill of candidate assessment.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company's comp and benefits are behind the times. For example, lack of 401(k) match. As another example, lack of quality of life things like fresh fruit and healthy snacks.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people I work with are trying to do their best. We are all working in a positive way towards a better future. We don't let the long odds or the chaotic growth get us down.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happy to be working on things that matter. My work has an impact. My boss gives me flexibility and autonomy. I do not feel micromanaged. I feel encouraged to be creative and to swing for the fences.
