What are some of the best things about your team?

The Gear Heads are generally people that are stoked to be outside and get people in good gear. It is fun to interact with them.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Previous law suits are still impacting how the business is perceived. Their jump into fast fashion and low quality gear will further damage their image.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

As Backcountry opens stores in expensive locations, they make no attempt to pay associates more in those expensive areas. Employees are finding it increasingly difficult to live where they work.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Sustainability. There are no efforts to address their environmental impact and they are making poor fitting, low quality clothing using questionable sources to try to expand their profits in casual clothing areas.
