What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing there will always be someone happy to see me. I know going into work I'm going to laugh with my co-workers, have a good time and also make progress on achieving our goals.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Best part of my compensation package is free lunch and dinner and unlimited/flex PTO. I feel a liberty to operate as an independent adult and am trusted to manage my calendar as such. "Micro-managey" culture doesn't really exist here.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
We already are very good about prioritizing communication to candidates once they come onsite, however there's always room for error. For instance, I didn't hear anything from anyone for 4 weeks after my second stage. Glad I followed up 4 times. Haha!
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best things about my team is we all care deeply not only about hiring the right talent but developing the right strategies as we continue to scale. Everyone is onboard and invested in our vision and we work together everyday to make that a reality.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love the care and attention they give us as employees. I have never once felt like I wasn't taken care of and that's a reflection of a more intimate understanding of what makes happy employees stay happy. I appreciate all of the things we have to support our day to day life at Better.
