I love the company. We have been thru growing pains and much staff turn over. the core people in my department are long term, but we are rare. Upper management makes too many quick decisions then has to change back. Good upgrades to tech. Happy to have onsite IT. Pay much less than Private practice.

Wisdom, respect, collaboration, helpful, fun
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have fun bringing the next generation into our profession. It's hard but we support eachother.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
campus leadership appreciates us and listens to our concerns. they cannot always do anything because executive team makes decisions often.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The benefits have been shrinking every year. No 401k matching even though they say maybe every year. No profit sharing. Increased cost share for health care. no uniform allowance. no allowance for required courses for licensure or even association dues. We are professionals.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing my students grow and learn. Having time to be creative with my teaching, except executive team took away the week in between terms so I have no time for professional development or creativity now. Penny wise pound foolish decision. My students had to come to class between Christmas and NY!
