I've been a DA instructor for the last 8 years at Carrington College Citrus Heights. Until June 2021 it has been a positive experience. After the hire of our DA program director my job satisfaction went down considerably. Poor leadership, zero communication with our department.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Paycheck is the one thing that remains consistent.
What makes you most happy at work?
Teaching my students new things and watching their progress.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Not a lot of pressure from supervisors. Relaxed work environment.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicating the future of Citrus Heights faculty after campus closure.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My colleague is new but very motivated to do an excellent job. She is always looking for new ways to improve.
