I am here b/c of the work. The tension between our mission statement of providing quality care and profit motive is felt almost daily. I am here to be of service to my patients, I am here b/c I enjoy working with like minded people at the clinic level.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We take great care of our patients.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interviews were professional. The follow through from HR was not.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Replace him. Our manager appears to make 100% of decisions about our clinic based on how it affects his pay and what work it will/won't create for him. He is only friendly when it works in his best interest.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are skilled and qualified. They are motivated until the corporate treatment of them discourages them, and then we have to deal with their malaise until they find another job. The turnover is terrible. We are losing great talent and it would be so easy to keep them.
