It has been an interesting ride, from being an employee to contractor and back to employee, I feel valued by the people I work with, have an excellent team that works for me and feel that my opinions are valued and I feel that I am able to positively contribute to the company.

What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is always looking out for and helping each other. they each bring a different perspective to the job and it is a pleasure to work with them. these characteristics apply to nearly everyone I interact with at IPC, globally.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate two things about the leadership team: an improvement in communications and COVID response. Comms improvements are: HR People Talks and diversity of speakers during All Employee meetings. The prioritization of employee health and well-being during the pandemic is obvious and appreciated.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Have compared salary to similar jobs and I am well under the median, although I have significant experience and global responsibilities. Small yearly merit increases will make it difficult to ever get to a point of fair compensation. Remove arbitrary limits to promotion %. and pay market value.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I thoroughly enjoy the ability to speak to people around the world, it is refreshing to hear from other cultures and viewpoints and be able to have a global workforce that speaks to each other regularly. As a resident of the US, hearing opinions about our events is fascinating.
