The inconsistency when it comes to how data is handled in the (too) many systems we have, inconsistency in processes, lack of any kind of reliable IT support, and short-term deadlines (everything is always urgent and an emergency) make working here unnecessarily stressful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Inflexible deadlines are set seemingly without any consideration of current workload and ability to work the necessary long hours.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too many systems, hardly and training on the systems, bad to nonexistant support when there are problems or questions regarding any of the systems. Data is spread out across multiple, often times redundant systems, and data organization and maintenance is not consistent across systems.
